Despite being recently hospitalized, Angela Simmons is still hard at work. As, she continues to build her brand she has added a new product to her empire. Angela has launched a fashion website. She co-founded the site with Alisha Crutchfield who serves as Angela I Am’s creative director.
The site sells an array of items ranging from shoes, to accessories, to dresses and even hair. Simmons added that eventually she wants the site to carry plus sizes, but for now will focus on up-and-coming designers. This may be a change for some local designers to get on board.
“It’s important to support young up and coming designers, stylists, people who have talent who aren’t necessarily able to have a platform,” she explained. “But this platform is already built, people are checking it out, so why not help each other? It’s really about that at the end of the day…helping another person grow.”
