Last weekend Empire’s Yazz The Greatest was potted hanging out around Memphis. The Empire star was in town to host a party at ‘Live’ Nightclub’s Grand Opening. The actor and rapper ia known for his role as Hakeem Lyon in the Fox prime time musical drama television series Empire.
In addition to the club’s event Yazz carved out some time for the ‘YGT Tour’. The surprised students at (2) local schools in Memphis. Hanley Elementary and Hamilton High received a visit from Yazz.
Xclusive Memphis was invited to a few events that Yazz appeared at as well as a special meet and greet for fans.
I got a chance to chat with Yazz briefly. He was super tall and very nice and friendly. He took pics with everyone and seemed to be happy hanging out in the ‘M’.
In addition to the planned stops, we also spotted Yazz at Fox 13 News studios, STAX Museum and the National Civil Rights Museum.
