This past weekend I had the pleasure of attended one of the most elite, prestigious and upscale event Memphis has scene. Niki Smith Brown (NuAge Marketing) and BET Comedian Spank E Production were the producers who put on one heck of a show. From the elaborate red carpet, to the exquisite VIP area, to the fashion and comedy show. The production was amazing. Proceeds from the event were donated to Memphis Charity Dress For Success.
The show went off with out a hitch as Memphis A-Listers graced the runway wearing the latest fashion from some amazing designers. The event was full of fashion and laughs. The fashion line up consisted of local K&G, Carver High Alumni Destination 9 Vintage, My Girl Jennuinely Chic, Body Decor Boutique. They put in a lot of work to ensure the show was a smash!
Roxanne Shanté, Spank E, Tony Tone, Rob Love, Evarocitta, Vanessa Fraction and many more graced the mic. They all had original material and had the crowd laughing through the nite. The music was provided by my guy Howard Kew. Kudos to Ms. Leah Long for all the hard work her company CreARTive put into the event.
