This past weekend comedian and actor Sinbad was in Memphis, TN… Sinbad was the performing act at the new Chuckles Comedy Club in Cordova. Years and years later Sinbad still looks great and is still amazingly funny. Sinbad became known in the 1990s from being featured on his own HBO specials, appearing on several television series, and starring in the films Necessary Roughness, Houseguest, First Kid, Jingle All the Way and Good Burger.
It was great to chat with the legend after his performance.

1) He is a fan of the Miami Heat. (He kept asking for a Score update during his Sunday performance.)
2) He plays around with music when he is not on stage. He plays the guitar. His band’s name is Memphis Red and the Stank Nasty Band.

6) Sinbad attended Benton Harbor High School, where he was in the marching band as well as the math club.
7) He served in the United States Air Force as a boom operator aboard KC-135 Stratotankers.
