Tonight (November 13, 2013), Rudy Gay will step foot on the court inside the Fed Ex Forum. Although, Rudy will not be in Grizzlies gear, a lot of his former Memphis Grizzlies fans will be in attendance.
Rudy and his team (Raptors) will take on his former colleagues and friends Z-Bo and Tony Allen.
Tonight will be Gay’s first appearance since he was traded to Toronto last year.
Gay, who didn’t want to leave Memphis, says he doesn’t want revenge on the Grizzlies, but he is happy for one thing.
“We got in last night; went to my house, slept in my bed for the first time in a while. It felt good to be back,” Gay said.
So, although Rudy, has moved on to another team, he still owns his home in Memphis. Guess, that still makes him a part of the Memphis Community.
