Reality Star, entrepreneur, Mother, and Author Toya Wright will be in Memphis, this Sunday, February 9, 2014.
The start of 2014 means one thing for basketball fans in and around Shelby County: the first ever Shelby County (SCIAA) High School Championship at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee.
Toya Wright will be making a guest appearance along with the OMG Girlz.
Presented by the Shelby County Interscholastic Athletic Association (SCIAA), the goal of this event is to foster a positive attitude for young boys and girls hoping to play basketball at the next level. Middle school and high school players are much more likely to keep playing productively at the next level if they’re equipped with the right mindset – SCIAA hopes to do just that with this event.
“When athletes in middle and high school programs get the ‘fever’ for the game, it awakens the madness to play at higher levels,” Dr. J.L. Perry, Manager, SCIAA.
