Memphis Mayor A.C. Wharton proclaimed yesterday, November 18, 2013, Justin Timberlake day.
Mayor Wharton wanted to honor Justin for the way he makes the city proud.
“Saturday Night Live, his charitable work. He has represented us on stages around the globe,” said Wharton.
Hundreds of fans flocked to downtown Memphis to celebrate JT’s day before he hit the stage in downtown Memphis.
Justin performed for a sold out crowd at the Fed Ex Forum as part of his 20/20 Experience World Tour.
Although, Justin was not in attendance for the press conference, his mother accepted on his behalf.
