It’s official CMG has signed regional Hip Hop star Snootie. Snootie is a North Memphis artist whose hit single “Yayo” has taken the south and its radio waves by storm. This is one of many upcoming signings Yo Gotti has in the works since his CMG label recently entered a joint venture deal with Epic Records.
A few months ago Yo Gotti took to Instagram to announces the signing of a Memphis artist. The internet was buzzing, as everyone was trying to figure out who the new addition to CMG was. Well the wait is over. Today Gotti announces the official signing of Snootie. In adddition to the signing, Snootie will now join Zed Zilla and YG on the official ‘I Am’ Tour along side Yo Gotti.
As up can see Yo Gotti is prepared to take the CMG Empire to the next level, as he continues to carry the torch as King of Memphis.

Memphis rap star Snootie to CMG’s growing roster of artists and his addition to Yo Gotti’s “I AM 2013 Tour” lineup. Snootie’s signing marks one of several upcoming roster additions CMG has in the works since the label’s recent entrance into a multi-level joint venture partnership with Epic Records.
With his high powered single “YAYO,” [Listen: http://bit.ly/1a0Rcv7 ], the North Memphis breakout MC has propelled his widespread buzz well beyond Tennessee while organically taking mix show radio by storm throughout the south and beyond including markets such as Charlotte, NC; Memphis, TN; Norfolk, VA; Augusta, GA; Fayetteville, NC; Greensboro, NC and Wilmington, DE. With CMG now in play the label will nationally service the song wide to DJs and go for adds at radio.
Produced by K. Figz, “Yayo” was an instant banger to listeners when it originally debuted and went viral mid-summer. In September Yo Gotti included Snootie’s record “Yayo” on his mixtape “November 19th” “which has since taken the song to even higher heights thus far and further solidified one of many reasons why the CMG boss decided to bring this artist into the fold:
