Tickets will be on sale at the Cook Convention Center box office Friday, June 6th from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m.
The Sistahs Succeed 2 Showcase is a one day event designed to be a continuation of the faith based initiatives and themes of Spirit Magazine and to empower and motivate women both spiritually and professionally.
Attendees can still expect a day of entertainment and empowering activities at the inaugural Sistahs Succeed 2 Showcase. During the showcase, in addition to other activities, motivational speakers will be on site speaking to women and providing resources to improve their knowledge of health, finance, fitness, beauty and fashion.
The day will begin with prayer lead by pastor Uliasea Little of Christ Baptist Church, followed by a group fitness and self-defense course. Later in the day there will be a fashion show, concert by blues singer Sir Charles Jones and a meet and greet with actor Morris Chestnut.
The Memphis Best Gospel Competition will also take place on Saturday with a panel of guest judges who will select a grand prize winner to win $1,000 cash.
Attendees who have already purchased tickets for Sunday, June 8th will be able to redeem them for Saturday June 7th.
