The NBA season may be on break, but the Memphis Grizzlies are still hard at work.
We recently added Vince Carter to the rooster. There was a press conference held for his arrival (story here).
In addition to the management team working behind the scenes, the Grizz Mascot, Grizz Girls and Kings Of The Court are also still hard at work.
This week it was announced that the crew was headed To South Africa.
The team will be participating in the 12th Basketball Without Borders, Africa events in Johannesburg from July 31 – Aug. 9.
They will perform at different Basketball Without Borders events, as well as at Basketball National League (BNL) games. While in South Africa, they will tour various cultural sites including the Nelson Mandela Foundation and Apartheid Museum. Their stay in Johannesburg will end with a finale performance at the Basketball Without Borders All-Star Game on Saturday, Aug. 9.
