1) Who are you? What do you do?
Who am I, very good question? I am a very complex individual who has experienced the good and the bad of what life has to offer thus far. I am a happy husband and proud father of an 8 year old little girl, my wife and my daughter are my world. I am a person that never gives up no matter how many times I failed I still succeed, my name is Aaron T. Jordan Jr. Over the last couple of years I have built this passion for enriching and empowering both men and women in regards to relationships and self worth. I get excited when men and women come to me for advice on relationships and self worth; it’s like a sigh of relief comes over me because I am operating in my calling.
2) What is your writing process? Do you follow a regular routine?
My writing process is simple at times, because of the way my mind works and operates. I have thoughts and powerful philosophies that comes to me daily; at that moment I get by myself in a study room or at my desk at home and I would be there for hours typing and writing, getting every thought in my mind out on paper. No, I do not have a set routine in my process mostly everything is spontaneous.
3) What are the most important elements of good writing? According to you, what tools are must-haves for writers?
A mentor of mind told me years ago, “In order to have something that you never had, you have to be willing to do something you never done.” With that being said, in my opinion important elements of good writing comes from within giving clear concise thoughts and things that are relatable. Passion plays a huge part in being an important element as well. Writers have to have passion for their craft and the attitude of not letting anyone deter you from your craft and your passion.
4) What motivates you to write?
My story motivates me to write and my wife and daughter motivates me to keep moving forward. My story of where I came from, been through, and experienced is relatable to anyone.
5) Do you ever suffer from writer’s block? If so, what do you do about it?
Have not had a writer’s block as of yet and I pray that I don’t have one, lol.
6) Do you have any advice for other writers?
Perseverance and persistence is a must, don’t let anyone or anything deter you from your craft.
7) What is the message in your book? What are your readers’ reactions to it?
The message in this book series is enrichment and empowerment of your self-worth in dating and having a successful relationship; it gives both men and women an understanding of the order of what has been broken and misconstrued in dating. I have received hundreds of testimonials of how the information in my book has resonated with their soul and inner being. Women and believe it or not has sent me countless of emails in gratitude for how my book has enlighten them and brought them back to the reality of understanding the fact that their worth is UNDENIABLE and their value is PRICELESS.
8) Did you learn anything from writing your book and what was it?
Writing this book and this book series was more so of an eye opener rather than a learning experience, because it proves that you can literally achieve anything that you put your mind to. If I had to say anything that I have learned from writing this book, I would say that it thought me how to release my inner pains and hurts.
9) What are your current / future projects?
Currently I am working on the second part of this 2 book relationship series, “Harnessing your Worth: Understanding your Value”.
