NBA player Paul George is on the road to recovery. George was severely injured a few months ago on the basketball court. In 2010 He was drafted by the Pacers as the 10th overall pick.
Speaking publicly for the first time since breaking his leg in Las Vegas two weeks ago.
“I plan on making a full recovery,” he said. “It will make me stronger.”
There were several sites that posted the links of the injury; however, I was unable to watch. Based on the social media talk and hear say it was very, very bad.
Despite every thing that he is going through, it appears the NBA star is on his road to recovery.
A medical expert recently shared his insight on the injury. For The Win spoke to Nick Grosso, a sports medicine surgeon and president of The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics, one of the largest practices in the country, about the injury from a distance.
“I do think that unless something goes wrong in rehab, he could be the same player.”
This is great news to hear. When the injury occurred a lot of people described it as “career ending”. I think we have to be careful before we count people out.
If you follow Paul on social media, he appears to be in great spirits. He is in our prayers and we pray he recovers soon.
We spotted this pic of (2) fellow NBA players, former Memphis Grizzies Player/Memphis resident Rudy Gay showing love for Paul.
Also I thought this was a cute pic of George with his family (pre-injury).
