Teen Star Trevor Jackson was in Memphis this past weekend for a charity event. While in town the singer/actor took time to visit a few patients at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospitals.
Trevor Jackson is an American film, television, and theater actor, writer, singer, and dancer.[1] He is best known for playing Kevin Blake on Syfy original series Eureka,[2][3] and for playing Kris McDuffy on Disney Channel’s hit movie Let It Shine.[4] Other notables appearances include Broadway musical The Lion King, where he played the Young Simba, and television guest star roles on both Cold Case and Harry’s Law. In 2012, he won the Young Artist Awards for Best Performance in a TV Series.[5]
Trevor took pictures, signed autographs and took time to put smiles on the faces of the pediatric patients. Trevor starred in the 2012 original Disney Channel movie, Let It Shine! Trevor plays the best friend and confidant of an aspiring hip hop musician who enters a songwriting contest and mistakenly wins his best friend’s dream.
