Tyler Perry is always at work. He has began filiming for his next project ‘Single Mom’s Club’.
According to BlackFilm.com, the Liongate film, which stars Perry, Nia Long, William Levy, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and Zulay Henao, follows a group of single mothers who bond together in an effort to launch a support group for their children’s school. The film follows a group of single mothers from different walks of life who are brought together by an incident at their children’s school. As a result, they create a support group that helps them find comedy in the obstacles of life, as well as their inner strength to overcome their personal challenges.
Production on the comedy began Monday, (Nov. 26) at the filmmaker’s studio in Atlanta.
Perry will also star in the film alongside Nia Long, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Amy Smart, Zulay Henao, Cocoa Brown, Ryan Eggold, William Levy, Terry Crews and Eddie Cibrian.
The film is due in theaters on May 9, 2014.
