Vanessa Simmons the oldest daughter of Rev Run is set to make her first big film debut. She has been casted in Filmmaker Dominga Martin upcoming romantic comedy, “My First Loves.”
When asked about her thoughts on landing the leading role in “My First Loves,” Vanessa said: “I fell in love with the very candid story of one girls quest in life to find true love, a story I can relate to quite well.”
The 29-year-old Pastry co-founder will play Starla. “She is a hard working young lady, who I feel like is looking for love,” she told AllHipHop. “It sounds sort of chick-flickish, but that’s our story aside from our contributions back to the world. I think we are here to find love and to share that with somebody else, and I think that her story is very relatable to other people in what we go through as women in finding that one person we can share our life with.”
“My First Loves” is scheduled to begin production this summer in Atlanta, GA and New York City.
