Steve Harvey’s ex-wife has been sentenced to 30 days in jail. I will keep my comments to my self since I don’t know them personally. But I will say that I hate for anyone to spend the holidays in jail. She should be with her son for Christmas. The most joyous time of the year.
A judge found her in contempt of court during a hearing.
That divorce case is sealed and under a gag order.
Vaughn is now serving 30 days behind bars, and says she wanted to tell her side of the story.
Vaughn’s release date isn’t until Jan 17.
“I’m just a mother who wants to have access to my son without interference,” she said. “I’m tired of getting pulled down to McKinney courthouse every time I say ‘Boo.’ I’m not going to be silenced.”
Harvey has custody of the couple’s teenage son.
