Last month comedian Kevin Hart donated 500 computers–including 200 desktops and 300 laptops–were donated to the Philadelphia Department of Parks and Recreation, and the School District of Philadelphia.
“Coming here and actually seeing the computers put to use, it was shocking,” said Kevin. “Literally seeing the kids putting the computers to use put a smile on my face.”
“I am what I am today because of Philadelphia. This city made me . All of my education came from this city,” Kevin told the students and staff at Hartranft School as Mayor Nutter and city and school officials looked on.
Yesterday, he learned that some of the computer had been stolen.
