Olympic Gold Medalist Gabrielle Douglas Set To Release Second Book


One of America’s sweet hearts Gabby Douglas has be on the move since her gold medal win last year. She has appeared on many shows, Kellogg’s cereal box  and several magazine covers since her win. She also released her first book last year, Grace, Gold & Glory: My Leap of Faith.

She is now set to release her second book ‘ Raising The Bar.  The book will be released on April 30, the publisher Zondervan said in a release. Zondervan specializes in Christian-oriented books under the HarperCollins division.



The new book will be a four-color inspirational title, two-time Olympic gold medal–winning gymnast Gabrielle Douglas shares photos, quotes, and some of her favorite things, as well as tips on how to stay healthy, look your best, and keep strong under pressure.

After competing in the 2012 London Olympics and winning two gold medals, Gabrielle Douglas’s life changed forever … but in many important ways, it stayed the same. Inside these pages, Gabrielle shares an inside look at her day-to-day world, from the things that are still important to her—time with her friends and family, her favorite comfort foods, and her training routine—as well as what’s it’s like to suddenly walk the red carpet and interviewed by various people.
