Thanks to TMZ I am sure you are all already aware that ‘Yazz The Greatest’ was in Memphis this past weekend. Yazz was in town as one of the celebrity guest for the annual Sisterhood Showcase. Yazz will be 22 later this year. Although, he is famous for Yazz, his real name is Bryshere Yazshawn “Yazz” Gray. Yazz is one of the actors from hit show ‘Empire’.
Yazz appeared at the annual event on 5p.m. Saturday. He was spotted taking pictures with fans and interacting with vendors, sponsors and volunteers.
Yazz was also spotted talking with local new, Fox 13. Although the link of of the interview is posted on the news affiliates site, it does not open.
It is also been reported that Yazz’s mom was also in town with him (pics below).
After Yazz’s appearance it appears he wanted to hang out on Memphis’s world famous Beale Street. This is where TMZ comes into play (Goggle it).
Not sure, what happened, but it seems Yazz had clearly been on Beale prior to the incident (pic below).
I am going to assume Yazz went on Beale prior to his scheduled Sisterhood Showcase appearance. He enjoyed the fans and atmosphere and decided to return later.
However, during the day you can enter and exit Beale street and it’s clubs freely. But when night falls, there are barriers that are put into place for protection and security purposes.
Not aware of how Beale street works, I feel he blindly walked into the situation and a filmer just happen to be receording. #my2cents
