This past weekend Memphis media had their ears to ground. The one question everyone wanted to know, will Tony Allen be a Grizzly next season. Allen’s contract was set to expire after Memphis Grizzlies most historic season. During Tony Allen’s fan meet and greet the media wanted a hint or a sign that the Grind Father would return. Tony made it known he loves Memphis and he bleeds blue.
Memphis Grizzlies got their wish when this tweet hint Twitter last night:
Well Memphis it looks like we have Tony for 4 more years. He will return on a four-year, $20 million deal. It will all be finalized next week.
The Memphis Grizzlies are rejoicing as no one knew what to expect.
