Actor Anthony Anderson is returning to tv tonight. A few months ago, I ran into Anderson down in New Orleans. We got a chance to chat briefly about his upcoming show. There was also a preview screening held for media and bloggers during Essence Festival.
Based on the description he gave me, it sounds like it will be real comical.
Anderson continues to create and find his lane in entertainment.
Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross are invading ABC’s Wednesday night lineup in the new series “Black-ish,”. The comedy revolves around an upper middle-class African-American family, headed by Anderson’s ad exec character, who worries that his children might be losing their cultural identity. “Black-ish” also stars Laurence Fishburne as Anderson’s cranky old-school dad. The sitcom premieres Wednesday night at 7:30 pm Central, right after the season premiere of ABC’s “Modern Family.”
