[Pics] Michael Oher Visits Patients at St. Jude Children’s Research

Offensive tackle Michael Oher and The Titans cheerleaders were spotted hanging out at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis on yesterday. Michael recently signed with the Titans. Although, I am a die-hard Dallas fan, I like the fact Oher is playing for the Tennessee team.

Michael Oher has Memphis roots. He grew up not to far from St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in North Memphis. This was his first visit to the hospital. I’m sure he rides through where his former projects use to be housed. We spotted Memphis Grizzlies guard Quincy Pondexter hanging out with Oher.

“It’s heart warming and every day I leave here, I leave with something different. I learn to be an inspiration and to get better,” Pondexter says.

“Take their mind off their treatments and their therapy and the things that they’re going through everyday,” Michael Oher, a member of the Tennessee Titans, said. “So just to show up and if they can be happy even just for a few minutes. You know it’s great.”

Now, I am sure Michael stuck around for the Grizzlies game tonight.
