This past weekend loves was in the air at The 2013 Essence Festival. Movie Producer Will Packer got down on one knee. He proposed to his girlfriend of 2 years Heather Hayslett at the Mercedes Benz Superdome. Guess what? She’s from the M-town. Yes, Heather is a Memphis Native. Radio Personality, Nephew Tommy assistied Will with pulling off the proposal. Will meet Heather 4 years ago at Essence.
From Jubilee magazine:
“Heather, you’ve changed my life. I Love you so much. You make me happier than words can express. I can’t think of no other way to tell you that than right now in front of all these people.” [He drops to one knee]. “Will you be Mrs. Packer for the rest of your life?!” [After a brief pause of joyous shock, she started jumping up and down, grabbed the mic and screamed YES!!] He placed the ring on her finger, stood up and screamed, “She said yes ya’ll!!”

So how did Will pick the perfect ring?
“This is how you do it fellas. Over a year ago, in conversation, I heard her talk about someone else’s ring and I got her to say what she liked.”
